Who is Enter Soundman   

Peter Guthrie wasn't always a soundguy. He, like many other sound geeks, first dabbled in music on the other side of the foldbacks. After a few years working as a rhythm guitarist in a metal band, Pete decided to take his music to the next level by entering himself into a University Course. This was, of course, a waste of time. He completed 2 years' worth of his Bachelor of Pop Music Degree before realising this. 
After finally accepting that his metal career wasn't really getting anywhere (surprise, surprise), he found work as a soundguy at Twin Towns Services Club, where he was able to provide live sound engineering for bands such as Hot Chocolate, The Screaming Jetts and Darryl Braithwaite. It was after his time at Twin Towns that he realised his true calling in life, and so decided to get a real job as a Mechanic and do live sound on the weekends. And now he is here in Newcastle ready and willing to put all of his experience and knowledge into making your pub band dreams a reality.
